Profhilo has been producing amazing results for restoration and ageing skin. You may be familiar with hyaluronic acid, as this is also what fillers are made up of. Winner of the 2016 Product of the Year, Profhilo is an innovative remodelling treatment (bio remodelling) that was created to target dull, elasticity and volume. This non-surgical treatment can be used in a variety of areas, including the face, neck, hands and decolletage and will smooth, tighten and make you glow.
This treatment is ideal for patients who present signs of skin ageing and helps by rejuvenating tired, ageing and dull skin, stimulating the production of collagen, increasing firmness and elasticity, plumping and reducing fine lines and wrinkles, providing natural results to make you look healthier and younger.
There is a high does of Pure HA, which is found naturally in the body, in Profhilo and provides a huge hydration boost from within. It is hydrophilic, drawing whilst also holding water. By doing so, hydrates your skin better than any other product we have seen on the market.

For those patients who are over 60, understandably, more care is needed when managing the treatment. You may have deeper folds, and so a more detailed treatment plan may be required to tackle your concerns.

Profhilo is a revolutionary skin treatment that enables your natural collagen and also your elastin; causing your skin to renew successfully, from within.
Profhilo is different to other injectable products; is not a dermal filler, and it has been specifically engineered for skin bio-remodelling. It is biocompatible as a result of the pure grade hyaluronic acid produced by bio-fermentation.
In large part due to the high purity (in addition to the absence of additives), Profhilo is considered to be a safer treatment than its counterparts, with reduced side effects.
There is minimal downtime for Profhilo, so you ought to be able to resolve your normal activities right away. Whilst the treatment is taking place, you will likely notice each insertion, but they will quickly diffuse and disappear.
After Profhilo, we recommend that you refrain from physical and sports activities for around 24 hours. We would also recommend you avoid going to a sauna or having a steam bath for a period of days and avoid having further cosmetic treatments for 48 hours unless guided by your treating practitioner.
We typically recommend 2 Profhilo sessions, 1 month apart, which help to achieve optimum results. In some cases, where there is problematic skin, you may require a 3rd treatment, 2 months after your second treatment. Your practitioner will discuss this with you at your consultation.

With Profhilo you can expect to see increased firmness, elasticity and overall improved quality of your skin, with results lasting for 6 months or longer.
Profhilo diffuses over a period of 4 weeks after each injection, whilst stimulating four different types of collagen and elastin. You can expect to see improvements in your skin after 4 weeks, with optimum results after 8 weeks.
Following your Profhilo treatment, there is a chance that some localised lumps may appear, around the injection site. We find that these lumps will subside, typically 4-6 hours after the treatment, but do not be alarmed if they last up to 24 hours. Many patients do not experience lumps and swelling, and it does depend on each individual.
