HydraFacial is a machine process delivered in one treatment and can be used for the face, back, lips and eyes using a different technique for the more delicate areas. Each step complements and preps for the next and all are needed for the best result. It is suitable for all skin types and skin concerns; general rejuvenation, pores, blackheads, acne, pigmentation and ageing.
It can be customised and combined with other treatments for you such as laser or Dermapen micro-needling in order to enhance the result and achieve the best outcome. This treatment reveals refreshed and rejuvenated skin with immediate results. A course of treatments is recommended on a weekly or monthly basis depending on the skin concern.
HydraFacials involve detoxifying using a lymph drainage technique and cleansing your skin with active botanical ingredients with light exfoliation. This is followed by an acid peel for a deeper exfoliation and extraction. A variety of OBAGI skincare boosters and other active ingredients are used to treat concerns, hydrate and protect the skin. Finishing the treatment with LED light therapy using red light to stimulate collagen, reducing fine lines and the blue light that kills p-acne (porphyrin) bacteria and calms any inflammation. This treatment reveals refreshed and rejuvenated skin with immediate results and is suitable for all skin types and concerns. It can be tailored to suit specific skin concerns such as pigmentation, acne, ageing and dehydration.
Classic HydraFacial with our Cynosure Elite IQ laser boost before hydration and protection steps. This laser can treat thread veins, diffused redness, pigmentation (sunspots/sun damage) and skin rejuvenation; fine lines, pores and texture. This treatment is like our Omniya signature laser facial, however more intense. It works well for people with a buildup of rough texture and congestion and skin blemishes for those who want a complete rejuvenation.

Classic HydraFacial with our Dermapen micro-needling pen device added after extraction and before hydration and protection steps. The HydraFacial prepares the skin by unclogging the pores and removing dead skin which allows the Dermapen to work more effectively to tighten the pores and to treat acne scarring. As we can change the needle depth, we can target different types of acne scars and acne at the same time. By treating both, this will minimize the risk of further scarring from active breakouts.

The HydraFacial treatment does not need any special preparation like most of the other treatments and the results can be seen immediately.
The treatment is gentle on your skin and reactions are rare.
HydraFacial treatment works instantly on any visible pores or noticeable fine lines on your face. It also enhances the clarity of your skin and the texture of your complexion leaving it more radiant with a dewy and smooth glow.
This treatment infuses your skin with essential vitamins, moisture, and antioxidants. Vitamins and antioxidants help the skin fight early signs of ageing while protecting the skin from environmental pollution and free radicals. The moisture keeps the skin smooth and soft and stimulates collagen and elastin production to help prevent fine lines and wrinkles.
Your aesthetician will start off by a lymphatic drainage routine that restores hydration, reduces puffiness by removing toxins brightening the skin that preps for the next step. A deep cleansing of your pores using a combination of botanical cleansers and hydrating, soothing ingredients. The pen-like tip whisks away makeup and dirt, with a light exfoliation buffering off the top layer of skin. This then preps the skin for the acid peel application for a deeper exfoliation treatment.
Once your skin is fully cleansed, your aesthetician will use pure glycolic acid to dissolve the dead skin cells plugged within the pore and uncover a more radiant-looking complexion. This also helps to soften the impurities, clearing the skin and preps the skin for the extraction step. As with any chemical exfoliating treatment, you may feel a bit of tingling, but because it’s a mild peel, you shouldn’t feel it sting or burn.
Next, a vacuum-like tip called the vortex-extraction nozzle suctions out blackheads and impurities from deep within your pores. This step gives a clearer complexion and improves pore minimisation. Depending on your level of sensitivity and the condition of your skin, your aesthetician can choose one of six different tips for the device that range from gentle to more aggressive.
Next, your facial expert infuses a targeted serum—a customised cocktail that includes hydrating ingredients, antioxidants, peptides, hyaluronic acid and other actives that are delivered deeply to treat specific skin concerns. There are 11 different boosters available that can help energize and brighten the skin, improve signs of ageing, refine pore size and reduce acne. Ingredients include stem cells, growth factors, peptides, and acids, as well as botanical extracts. This step gives the skin ultimate hydration, improved texture and clarity achieving overall healthy skin.
The HydraFacial caters to most complexions and concerns. It’s great for teens suffering from acne; adults with pimples, wrinkles or hyperpigmentation; and for older patients with sun damage or uneven skin tone. There are some exceptions — those with active rashes, sunburns, or rosacea, along with pregnant or breastfeeding patients and any shellfish or honey allergies.
HydraFacial results should last up to seven days and give immediate results making your skin smoother and more radiant while helping with conditions like enlarged pores, uneven or dull skin tone. Longer-lasting results can be achieved through a course of weekly or monthly HydraFacial and maintenance treatments.
The HydraFacial treatment uses different and specific tips at each step which can be tailored to your skin concern. Starting with a lymphatic drainage routine to help detoxify the skin, reduce puffiness, and preps the skin for the remaining steps. A deep cleanse is then carried out, removing any dead skin and excess oils with a light exfoliation. This is followed by a pure glycolic acid peel that has a progression of strengths, which is applied to the skin to break up the dirt and oil which may be clogging pores. The extraction tip is then used to blast fluid onto your face which pushes trapped dirt out of your pores which are then essentially vacuumed up along with blackheads, dirt, oil and impurities. This is all done while simultaneously hydrating, plumping and nourishing serums are applied to your skin. The cordless red and blue LED light therapy are then pressed along the skin in a routine that covers the face effectively targeting specific skin concerns including ageing.
It’s similar to microdermabrasion in that it exfoliates and opens up pores. Unlike microdermabrasion, HydraFacial uses a suctioning device and a light chemical peel to gently exfoliate dead skin cells. Because of this, it’s suitable for all skin types, even sensitive skin, while microdermabrasion can be too rough for fragile complexions and conditions like rosacea.
