Hair transplants have come a long way in recent years. At Omniya Clinic in London, we are proud to offer some of the best FUE hair transplant services available to our patients. Whether you’re looking for men’s hair transplant services, women’s hair transplants, or beard transplants in London, we can offer a quality service that is sure to provide outstanding results.
Hair loss for many is an undeniably awful experience, whether it’s from a receding hairline, thinning hair or from female / male pattern baldness. Fortunately, at Omniya Clinic, our hair transplant surgeons can offer various solutions to remedy your hair loss.
FUE hair transplants use your own hair follicles to replace bald patches caused by ageing or other factors, and also provides hair growth where there was no hair there before (such as the beard line). The process involves carefully cutting around healthy hair follicles from the base and sides of your hairline and excising them. and then transplanting them carefully in a pattern that mimics a natural hairline.
After a full hair transplant consultation with one of our specialists, at which your scalp, and the area of the face where you require transplantation will be examined closely, your options will be discussed with you. Our experts will determine whether you could be a candidate for surgery, and if they feel you could be, they will explain the process to you in detail. A treatment plan will be drawn up so that you could get an idea of how your hairline will look once your transplant has been completed.
Our world-renowned FUE hair transplant specialists are both registered with the General Medical Council and have years of experience skill and expertise in providing hair transplant services. With a huge number of successful hair transplant surgeries in their case book, they are able to work carefully with patient’s needs to ensure that a successful transplant takes place and that you are happy with your results.
Your hair transplant will be achieved via FUE. This is a highly regarded technique that transplants hair from the sides and the back of the head to fill an area where hair has either been lost or was never there in the first place. The hairs from the sides of the head and the back of the head are not hairs that are lost through age-related balding, so your transplant will be a permanent fix to your hair loss concerns.
FUE hair transplants are a permanent solution to hair loss or an inability to grow hair where it is needed. Hair may be lost in several ways, due to androgenic alopecia or male pattern baldness, to losses due to pregnancy and menopause in women, to lifestyle factors and other medical conditions.
varies per patient
Both S-FUE (shaven follicular unit extraction) and U-FUE (unshaven follicular unit extraction) can be provided to Omniya clients. While S-FUE is a standard offering, U-FUE requires less shaving and could be suitable for those who would prefer not to have the scalp fully shaved.
It could take time for hair to grow after a hair transplant. We would advise that patients wait 12 months to see results, but hair may grow quicker or slower in some cases.
This depends entirely on whether any baldness continues, and the results you’re looking to achieve. You may decide to have further treatments some years after the first.
Our surgeons are very experienced in non-surgical corrections of surgical complications and receives patients and referrals from all over the world. These treatments are considered higher risk so a consultation before treatment is always recommended, whether in person or via photographs or video.
It is common for hairs to fall out between 1-3 months after treatment, but this doesn’t mean that the follicles have not been transplanted. It could take up to 12 months for hair to regrow after transplant.
Some people experience itching at the site of the transplant, and others may notice some crusting and a small amount of bleeding. All potential side effects will be explained to you before you choose to go ahead with an FUE transplant.
Your FUE surgeon will explain how to take care of your implanted hairs before you go ahead with treatment. Transplanted follicles could take 2 weeks to be considered ‘secure’ so you will be given instructions on how to preserve the transplanted follicles.
Usually, surgeons prefer you not to wash your hair for the first 5 days post treatment. Your surgeon will give you full instructions on how to care for your new hair.
We will assess your suitability, before a treatment plan is created for FUE. This is because not everyone is a suitable candidate. If, for example, you are fairly young, your surgeon might alert you to the fact the further treatment may be required in the future, as you may experience further hair loss as you age. Your surgeon would also need to assess your current hairline, the hair that is available for transplantation, recession prevention and more to give the best chance of meeting your expectations.
Some hair loss can be treated less invasively. If our surgeons feel a less invasive form of treatment could be an option, they will discuss this with you.
It does depend on the patient, and it is a case-by-case basis, however follicular unit extraction (FUE) hair transplant starts from £3000.
Omniya Clinic is a CQC registered clinic and our hair transplant surgeons are GMC registered. We will not consider any surgeon for hair transplant procedures without the correct qualifications and experience to perform the procedure. Our patient’s safety is our priority at Omniya.
If you’ve googled images of the hair transplant procedure, it does seem painful. But rest assured that there is minimal pain during the procedure and most patients have a comfortable operation. But after the hair transplant procedure you may experience some forms of mild pain and itching, and our surgeons will recommend a suitable remedy.
Over time the scarring from the hair transplant will diminish, and any resultant scarring would be undetectable by the untrained eye. Of course, there will be small scars from the ‘donor site’ but it will be covered by existing hair.
Yes absolutely. Dr Fernando and Dr Dilan’s hair transplant work can viewed from their before/after images
Every procedure comes with its risks but with a hair transplant procedure the risks are bleeding, infection and an allergic reaction to the anaesthesia. Rest assured that our surgeons will go over any complications that could occur.
With S-FUE there will likely be noticeable flags that you’ve had a surgery, as your hair will have been cut short all over. We believe U-FUE is more discreet since hair is not cut in your recipient site, so your hair will not look so short. You must discuss your concerns with your treating doctor, who may advise U-FUE is more subtle for your concerns, and there may be ways to reduce the risk of people finding out you’ve had the procedure.
